SNCC, along with the Nashville Student Movement, will be organizing a group to meet in Nashville, bound by bus for Birmingham and Montgomery, then on to Mississippi and New Orleans.

Local officials have continued to refused to enforce the 1961 Supreme Court decision ending segregation not only in travel, but also in bus terminal facilities. We will not be moved. We will continue to protest segregation by launching hundreds more Freedom Rides across the South.
